Character biography

Violet 

     Our main character Violet is a 19 year old girl who lives alone in both these worlds. When she was 10 years old, her parents died in a massive car accident that was primarily caused by the beginning of outside acts of violence. When they died she didn't really have anyone other than her close family friends. They agreed to take her in and raise her for as long as she needed. One of these family friends was Jade, she was around 17 years old and someone that Violet looked up to very much. Because of Jade, Violet continued to grow up very strong minded, kind, optimistic, and responsible, all qualities that Jade embodied as well. When Jade was 21, her and her parents were brutally killed during an act of hatred and violence that were becoming more common in the red world. When this happened, it changed Violet making her feel completely alone because Jade was basically the only person who was her friend and that mentored her after her parents had passed away. Ever since she was young, Jade was the only person that knew she could go between both worlds and because of this Violet always had a sense of trust and safety when she was with Jade so when she passed Violet was left feeling like she was really alone and like there was no one she could trust. 

    Doing a character biography really helped fill in the gaps within the story that we had and helped us progress a little bit more with how we wanted to tell the beginning of our story.
